Spring Flower Coasters and Teacups

It's been a long time since I had these coasters in my shop -- too, too long! I think I must have been waiting for the warmer months to roll around before I made them again. Well, those warmer months are definitely here, so I sat down and grabbed those pretty spring colored yarns and crocheted away!

And they are my avatar for crying out loud! I really should have them in my shop if their little picture is going to accompany me wherever I go!

Doesn't my mother's teacup look pretty on them? So feminine. I was lucky enough to get her china, at least what is left of it. It's a huge set with lots of different kinds of dishes, but I only have three plates!! I love it though, and of course, it reminds me of my Mama -- especially with Mother's Day coming up.

The flower on the inside is just the sweetest!
A little surprise as you drink your tea!

Here's a close-up -- I just love those flowers and the scroll design!
The pattern is "Victoria" made by Royal Cauldon of England.

Now here's a question ... I'm thinking of making these coasters in sets of one color -- do you think that the center should be the same off-white, or should the whole thing be one color. Probably pink! Or, if I do the solid colors, should they be a different pattern altogether -- more of a lacy look?

Help me decide!!

♥♥♥  I'm linking my spring flower coasters on Pink Saturday at  How Sweet the Sound.

I like the two colored coasters. Maybe in your listing you could offer one color, or make a set of one color to see how the response is.

They are really beautiful, and such great pictures of them.

I love your coasters just the way you have them...as Kaili mentioned, they look like little flowers....I like the white with the colored rim and they will go with more china that way, too!

I think I will have to run over and order a set!

That is a beautiful tea cup! I think you should make both...or all.

Hi, I love the way you make them now with white as the center!

Love your coasters! I'd make sure they all have white in the centers.
Thanks for sharing,

I like the center white, since it matches everything so well. You could always let people choose their own colors... {:-D

Your coasters are so pretty! The china cup pattern looks familiar.

It's difficult to decide something like that because everybody likes something different. I say give people choices. List other possibilities in your listings. Maybe show some other choices in your 5th photo. I have done that with scrunchies. Make sure that you make it clear what the buyer is actually getting when purchasing.
I personally like the white centers with other colors on the outside because they look like flowers.

Hello Sarah, I like your coasters with the off white centre and different coloured petals. Having a set of one coloured petals is nice, also a set with various colours would be good too. I like variety and rainbow colours.

Your cups are really sweet! Personally I like the two color coasters. Having sets with white centers and different colored petals for each coaster works well.

Cute! Hmn...I think it you do more, do the same, but with the same color rims on white. And then if you do a solid color, a variation on the stitch pattern would be lovely.
