The sun looks like a white hot ball floating through the trees ....
Gold in the heavens ....
Slowly sinking ....
Almost down, to be replaced by the moon ....
How can we ever doubt the presence of God?

Nice shots! I, too am a total (!) sucker for sunsets. I have got no idea how many, many photos of sunsets I have, and I never get tired of them or watching the sun set.

I love the way the trees add such a dramatic effect. These are beautiful photos. I think that is is nice of God to give us such a wonderful gift each night. What a nice way to relax after a long day!
