X-rays of a different sort....

So today we are studying the letter X for Alphabe-Thursday -- do you think Miss Jenny will x-pect an x-cessive number of x-ray posts? Probably, but I don't think she'll x-pel us out of class!!

I looked around for some cool words beginning with X -- did you know that xenodocheionology means the love of hotels (who wouldn't love hotels -- you don't have to make up the bed!), or that xenurine is a species of armadillo? I mean, living in Texas, I am certainly aware of armadillos but I didn't know there were different species of the critters!

Anyway, I found a lot of great X words, but it was when I was looking at photos for this post and playing around with Picasa, that I settled on the old standby, X-ray.

I mean, who can resist these two little skeletons?

Adam and Stephanie ~ Halloween 1986

And when you fool around with them you get these.....

Glow in the dark ....

Creepy ....

Creepier

Creepiest ....  those Evil Glowing Eyes ....

A bit of purple, murple fun ....

So you see, these x-rays are definitely x-ceptional, x-traordinary and un-x-pected!!

♥♥♥  Linking my skeletons to Alphabe-Thursday over at Miss Jenny's where we are studying the letter X.

These skeletons are such fun!
I told my husband the "love of hotels" word which I thought he'd appreciate since he travels for work a bit. What a fun word!
