We all scream for ice cream!
OK, I admit it..... I have a real problem with ice cream. I dare not let it into the house, into the freezer....
Because if it's there it calls out my name and 9:00 on the dot I'm drawn into the kitchen for a late evening ice creamy snack. I have no willpower. At all.
But it's a new flavor, Orange Sherbet Swirl, he says. I stop. Orange Sherbet Swirl?? It surely won't have as many calories if it has sherbet in it, I think.
Into the cart it goes.
Remember that no willpower stuff? With both of us eating it, it's gone in three days.
And so to commemorate the delicious, creamy yumminess of Orange Sherbet Swirl, I have crocheted a cone. In remembrance.
Because I can never let it in the house again.

Hi Sarah ~~ We like Blue Bell too!!! Our favorite is Homemade Vanilla Light of which we have some almost every nite before bed. Right now I am not and have lost three more pounds. ;)
We have not tried Orange Sherbet Swirl yet. If it lasts until Halloween we might. I do like your crocheted one.
..
Thank you for peeking on my Ice Cream post and for your nice comment.
..
you're preaching to the choir girl! I can usually keep the lovely ice cream out of my house, as long as hubby is not in the grocery story with me. lol.

Have to admit, all will power disappears when it's about ice cream!
LOL...I'm the same way with sweets :) I just don't buy them because I eat them...ALL!
Your cone is so cute!
Love the Ben & Jerry's flavors.

oops, thursday post ! ( just reminded myself about linking up to friday parties wrote friday rather than today! :)
I love your cone and it looks like orange sherbert swirl -- nicely done! After working in an ice cream restaurant for 7 years -- it is the one sweet that i can easily walk on by. Now the cake and cookie isle is another story!
So cute! I love the photo props.
What a cute cone! Ice cream doesn't last long here! I'm a Tillamook Peanut Butter and Chocolate fan! Mmmm mmm good!
$3 ice cream!! Yeah, I couldn't have passed it up either.
OMG that's a cute cone!
Lovely -- a crochet soft sculpture, AND in my favorite flavor(s)...I hear a Dreamsicle calling my name...
Thanks for sharing!
I know what you mean, I'm the same... If there's ice cream in the house it definitely calls my name each night!! I love your crocheted cone!!
The crochet ice cream cone is adorable! The new flavor sounds delicious.
Oh yeah, I have the same ice cream problem. I tell myself I'll just have one or two bites, pretty soon, I've eaten an entire pint.
Orange sherbert swirl does sound delicious. Impossible to resist :).
Adorable crochet shrine!
I understand - oh do I understand! I can't have Salted Caramel ice cream in the house at all - dangerous. I try not to let ice cream into the fridge unless there is a crowd big enough to finish it all.
I love your ice cream! And it's fat and calorie free. Even better. Very cute!
Can I suggest chocolate?
ha ha! ONLY three days??!! Now that's willpower!
I LOVE ice cream and your new crocheted ice cream cones are fantastic!
Your new avatar, btw, is perfect!
haha
Sounds like that flavor was almost addicting! We have a place in our area that is a little bit of a drive away (thank heavens!) that literally has the best ice cream I have ever tasted. It is absolutely irresistible.
Of course, like you, I have a little bit of a problem with ice cream...and so does my hubby!
=)
Ice cream I can resist.
However.
Baked goods.
Geez.
Somehow they call to me, too!
What a cute craft project that flavor invoked though!
Creamsicle-y cuteness!
Thanks for sharing!
A+
I wish I could crochet better! This is adorable! YUMO!
