According to the Urban Dictionary, the plural of moose is meese and I absolutely agree!
"The real plural of moose. Many people, including the dictionary and English teachers, will attempt to tell you that "meese" is not correct. However, please consider the following:
One goose = goose
One moose = moose
Two+ goose = geese
Two+ moose = meese?
Yes, meese is grammatically correct. Don't let them fool you.
Look at that wild flock of meese!"
mom and dad meese
what could be cuter than a baby moosie?
or is that mooselet :p
When I was little, I had an imaginary friend named Moosie. Moosie went everywhere with me and I carried him by his tail. His long tail. He looked like a monkey, but his name was Moosie. I know this because I drew a picture of Moosie and Me and Moosie was definitely quite monkey-ish.
You'll just have to believe me on this -- I had the drawing in my buffet but for the life of me I cannot now find it. Of course, if you could see inside the drawers of my buffet, you would understand why I cannot find it.
In any case, on one our trips to Colorado we decided to pick up some moose memories and start a collection of sorts.
This is my favorite. He's made of glass and is on a wooden base
that's covered in something to make it shiny
There was information on the artist in the shop where we bought it
and it explained his process....
but of course I don't have that anymore
This is neat -- an etched granite tile
A cute moose couple
and guess who picked it out?
Yup, hubby!
Couldn't be a trip to Vail without buying a mug!
This one is big, and great for hot chocolate...
lots of space for marshmallows!
Chocolate Mousse :)
I cross stitched him a bunch of years ago
and he hangs in my kitchen
This cutie ice skater was a gift.
He comes out at Christmas and helps decorate
Last but not least, Moosie!
He's a Gund and is actually named Moosie on his tag!
He's also Oliver's love....
I have to watch very carefully if Mr. Oliver is around lest we have something going on that we don't want to talk about in mixed company, if you get my drift. :D
So Moosie stays where Oliver can't get him.....
sharing my meese over at Miss Jenny's for Alphabe-Thursday where we are studying the letter M

Ok, moose, meese, moosie, mooselet...They are all very cute!
Thank you so very much for stopping over! I'm glad you like the mason jar soap dispenser tutorial and the monkey art :o) And that little basket, my dear friend bought from an artisan shop in Kentucky and is actually for garlic cloves, but I have some dried rosemary from my friends fall garden, still hanging in it for now...I love the smell of it!
Blessings & Aloha!
Meese sounds good to me. You have quite a collection there. I hope you can find your Moosie picture.
You are so right, that baby moosie is just darling!
Magnificent creatures! Wish I could see one up close. I've never thought about what the plural is. Little Moosie ist very cute :)
I love all your meese photos. Great entry for M.
I love all your meese photos. Great entry for M.
what a great collection of meese!
I could have added some moose poop for ya, from our trip to Maine, but we lost it when our freezer thawed...
long story. but I love meese too.
Love your meese collection. I like to collect black cats and owls. Black cats because I have one and I love her so much. And owls because I fell in love with them when I was working at the animal hospital and we raised and rescued a few.
It seems you collect moose and meese, I collect cats. The word corrector has underlined meese in red ! I don't know either why we say one sheep and two sheep should be sheeps !
Mooselet, for sure!
My sister really likes the critters, too - she has moose a couple pairs of moose pajamas and a moose mug.
i love moose drool its a beer in washington state and moose makes a great burger as well but I prefer them cute and alive
didn't know you collected moosies! Love your last pic - he looks familiar but I don't know why. I had a lot of stuffed animals as a kid, but don't think he was one... {:-D
I love the chocolate moose!!!

Making nouns plurals is tricky for me. I think it should be meese.
You forgot my favorite--MooseTracks ice cream!!!
I love moose - we have a lot of them around here...
You have a pretty cool collection...
Your meese are adorable, but correct or not, I don't think the word will catch one!
What cute meese you have!
Seeing them in the wild is quite a treat.
I love ALL your meese but especially that mug! So cute!
Being Canadian, I have a special place in my heart for the moose.
When I taught ESL for NATO I had the hardest time convincing the students that Meece wasn't a word!
Love that you collect something that has a direct connection to your childhood. Great♪ http://lauriekazmierczak.com/mine-eyes%E2%99%AA/
